Revelation 18:1-3<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0After this I saw another angel\u00a0coming down from heaven.\u00a0He had great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor.<\/i><\/span>\u00a02\u00a0With a mighty voice he shouted:<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!\u2019\u00a0 She has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.\u00a0 3\u00a0For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries.\u00a0 The kings of the earth committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich\u00a0from her excessive luxuries.\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAfter this I saw another angel coming down from heaven.\u00a0He had great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor.\u201d\u00a0<\/i>\u00a0The angel that comes down from heaven is said to have \u201cgreat authority\u201d and the earth was illuminated by his splendor.\u00a0 This angel was surely one of the most powerful angels.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWith a mighty voice he shouted: \u201c\u2018Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!\u2019\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/i>Babylon who had great power and influence over the world to entice the world to emulate her is fallen.\u00a0 It is not a slow ebbing away, but a mighty crash that the world will see and mourn.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cShe has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0 As we have seen Babylon has been described, she is a city loved by those who do not love God and to those who do love God, she is a horror.\u00a0 Nowadays people don\u2019t want to believe in the supernatural, they don\u2019t want to believe that in our day and age demons are a trouble.\u00a0 They want to ascribe their evil in ways that don\u2019t frighten, or that make sense to them.\u00a0 Even in the church.\u00a0 The Word of God is clear that demons have always plagued mankind and they will continue to so.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cFor all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries.\u00a0 The kings of the earth committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich\u00a0from her excessive luxuries.\u201d\u2019\u00a0\u00a0<\/i>This Babylon is a three headed monster, it is political, financial and religious.\u00a0 The Antichrist uses these points to infiltrate all the earth.\u00a0 It is easy for those who care to honestly look at the contemporary world, that the antichrist spirit is alive and thriving in our world.\u00a0 We have people and nations whose politics care nothing for the will of God, or for the good of all, but only want the politics to suit their own beliefs.\u00a0 Their selfish beliefs are placed before God.\u00a0 Financially those who have and could give that none should suffer refuse to do so.\u00a0 This is a me-first world.\u00a0\u00a0 On the religious front every year more and more churches accept the abominable to appease their sinful desires and to appease the evil in the world.\u00a0 In the final days, this will all be magnified.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the next verses we will see that all believers are called to be separated from the abominations of the world. God has always called us to be separate from the world.\u00a0 Not physically separate, but spiritually separate.\u00a0 We do not live in separated colonies because then we could not share the Gospel with them.\u00a0 We are not to pull back our affections but to love them as God loves them.\u00a0 But we are not to love and approve of their evil deeds.\u00a0 Let\u2019s keep our eyes on Jesus and follow Him.\u00a0 Then we shall find ourselves forever with God in Heaven.\u00a0 Praise God.<\/span><\/p>\n

Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/i><\/p>\n

Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear\u00a0me.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n
