When my brother and I were young, we would have time at night when we'd sit together in the living room as my dad would read aloud books to us. One of the series of books I specifically remember was going through the Chronicles of Narnia books. I think one of my favorite parts of this was when there was a picture in the book, my Dad would call out "Picture! Picture" in a silly voice as he showed the picture to us all. This is one of my favorite memories of my Dad and from when I was young.
I firmly believe that these nights and my Dad's love support for reading and writing, has been the cause for my love of stories throughout my life. I love reading and experiencing stories of all kinds has been one of the things I enjoy most, something I shared with my Dad and thank him for.
