2 Timothy 1:9-10 – He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of His own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, 10 but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.
Ephesians 1:3-9 – Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4 For he chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love 5 He predestined us for adoption to sonship c through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will— 6 to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the One He loves. 7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that He lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, 9 He made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ,
Romans 8:29-30 – For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
When was I saved? I know now that I have always been saved. I will always be saved. I was saved before I knew I would be saved and before I ran to Him and fell at His knees begging to be saved. I had grace because God determined and knew I had it in His infinite and perfect foresight and what God knows is never wrong. (Proverbs 30:5) Though it is accepted nowadays, may I never accuse God of being wrong! He foreknew me as one who would live in His grace and so I was and am in His grace. Before the creation of the world, before time, and certainly before I cried out to Jesus, I was saved in the perfect will and knowledge of God. Because He knew, it could be no other way. As sure as the Lord would create all of creation, as surely as within His creation time was created, as surely as He came and as surely as He will come back, is the certitude I have that I would been saved because God knew it and He is never wrong. Family, you and I were destined in His sure knowledge to be saved and so we are, and forever will we be. Easy as pie! He made it that way! Praise God!
