Humbly and thankfully,
Bowed before my God
I approach His throne.
I cannot bow low enough,
To honor Him,
As He deserves to be honored.
So I drop to my knees,
And I approach on all fours,
Not daring to look up,
To my Wonderful God.
But it is my Lord Jesus,
Who comes to my right side,
And His Holy Spirit,
To my left side.
Gently they lift me up,
Jesus looks into my,
Tear filled eyes,
And the pain I feel,
Has been replaced by joy.
The shame I felt,
Is as the east from the west,
Forever lost in the eyes,
Of my Lord.
The Holy Spirit encourages me,
With soft whispers of comfort,
Building me and remaking me.
Jesus says to me,
“My beloved you are mine,
You stand before your Father,
In My Name.
There is no need to crawl,
Your Father accepts you and,
Beyond that, He loves you.
Be full of joy,
Let songs of praise,
And thankfulness,
Flow from your heart,
Past your lips,
To the ears of your God,
To His heart,
Bringing Him joy,
As He loves His child.
He is delightful,
Joy radiates from Him,
Because of His great love
For you.”
